WHAT IS THE GHG PROTOCOL?

The GHG Protocol is a tool to understand, quantify, and manage GHG (Greenhouse Gas) emissions.

In 2008, the method was adapted to the Brazilian context by the Center for Sustainability Studies of Fundação Getúlio Vargas and WRI in partnership with the Brazilian Environment Ministry, The Brazilian Entrepreneurs Council for Sustainable Development Conselho Empresarial Brasileiro para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (CEBDS) , the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBSCD) and 27 Founding Companies, starting the GHG Protocol Brazilian Program.
